Experience

I have more than fifteen years of experience writing software. I am currently independantly contracting building software projects for a variety of people. This brings a much broader scope to software development. I must estimate project costs, manage my time, communicate with customers and search for work.

My employment history includes working for three major international banks. One at a level of Associate Director and another as a team leader. As part of these roles I have developed large scale business critical financial systems, both server side and user facing.

I was accepted onto a prestigous sponsored employment with the Ministry of Defence. This course comprised of a year long training course before university followed by placements working in different areas of the defence industry throughout my time at university.

I have also worked on personal projects outside of any formal education or employment. The goal of many of these projects was to learn new technologies, build websites or other useful tools. Several are now live and in use.

Currently I am contracting building several software projects for different companies. I work under the name of OneOffSoftware.

As part of my education I completed several major software projects. The most notable of which was a 3D graphics engines, which won me the project prize at Imperial College.
